Spring time at APU
It's like an artist's palette here. Splashes of color everywhere. The flowers had finally been coaxed out of their buds. Yellow flowers. Pink flowers. White flowers. Doesn't matter. All pretty flowers. :) All surrounded by the courting young leaves.
The sun is glowing with happiness. The wind dances in sprightly steps.
The sky is so clear and blue. The kind of blue that makes you want to daydream. The kind of blue that makes you forget there's homework to do and classes to go to.
What about the people? I think they seem to buzz with an energy that was not present in winter. For girls, skirts are shorter and shorts are back in fashion. Besides, I think everyone's footsteps seem lighter. Maybe it's because they're finally able to shed the thick and heavy overcoats. Or maybe it's just the fresh air doing wonders.
The average temperature is normally in the range of 16-19 degrees in the afternoon. Definitely lower than what I am used to. Last year around this time, I am sweating in a 38 degrees environment. So, I'm not complaining. I am typing this with slightly cold fingers. It's 13 degrees now.
Maybe I will post pictures of the campus later. Goodnight for now. :)
