Useful links for learning Japanese

Youtube channels:

- These channels have some very interesting videos about Japanese culture as well as language lessons. Personally, I like the J-news videos where Victor (he's the sensei) gives English explanations and teaches you news vocabulary. I don't like every single one of the videos. But still, there are lots of his videos which I find very useful. On the "Japanese for morons" channel, I recommend the lessons with Tomoko (she's Japanese/ and assists Victor in teaching).

- If you are an intermediate learner, some of the videos here will be very easy. But you should definitely check out these playlists:
  1. Learn Japanese through culture
  2. Learn Japanese with a Japanese Drama - iLove
  3. Japanese word origins (which are very interesting!)
Free dramas and animes:

http://www.dramacrazy.net/most-popular/
- This site is where you can watch Korean and Japanese drama series with English subtitles. In the "Most Popular" tab, series are listed by popularity. So, enjoy!

PS: Please be aware that one episode has 3 or 4 parts. I didn't see that and clicked on the link above the screen which goes directly to another episode. And I was like, "Strange. It doesn't have any connection with the previous ending." Of course, it wouldn't. Coz I skipped the parts. keke.. Took me some time to figure out. But I'm sure you guys are smarter! :D
- Watch free animes here. (Omg, I sound like a website ad.. haha)

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xq73a6_nihonjin-no-shiranai-nihongo-01_fun?search_algo=2#.UTaVMlf4KSo
- This is a series called "Nihonjin no shiranai nihongo". Highly recommended. It centers around a young Japanese teacher and her class of foreign students who have very different characters and come from all parts of the world. Very funny + interesting. English-subbed.

Songs with Japanese Lyrics:

- Another great way to learn Japanese is through songs with Japanese and English lyrics. True that most of the videos of the channel above seem to be Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato. Even if you are not particularly their fans, you should give it a try.
- If you want to find other songs with Japanese lyrics, just type "日本語歌詞" in the youtube search bar. :D

For those of you interested in cooking Japanese dishes:

Japanese Grammar site:

http://dev.jgram.org/pages/viewList.php
- It's called JGram and the grammar types are categorized in levels (N1, N2, etc.)

Last but not least:

I hope you find the above links useful. All the best for your Japanese learning. If you have other cool websites, please let me know in the comments section! Thank you! ^^
